Internal Advisory Committee

The Internal Advisory Committee (IAC) is comprised of senior leaders at Michigan State University from the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition, the Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology, the Institute for Integrative ToxicologyAgBio Research, the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and the Office of the Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies. The CRIS Director is an ex officio member of the IAC.

The IAC provides day-to-day administrative oversight to ensure the center focuses on meeting its goals, milestones, and objectives; this includes

  • providing fiscal oversight of the CRIS programs to ensure the appropriate distribution of resources.
  • appointing the non-industry members to both the External Advisory Committee (EAC) and the Emerging Issues Committee (EIC).

The IAC generally meets face-to-face monthly and are encouraged to attend the CRIS Annual Meeting.

You can learn more about the expectations and bylaws of the IAC by reviewing the Internal Advisory Committee Charter.
